Longchamp has a strong online presence via its e-commerce site to meet the expectations of international customers. In addition to offering its collections on its own site, the brand has extended its distribution to partner platforms, thereby increasing its visibility internationally.Longchamp has implemented an omnichannel strategy offering synergy between the physical shops and the online site, as well as a 360° customer journey.
The digitalization of the Longchamp group reflects a strategy geared towards modernization while remaining faithful to the heritage and values that have made the House a success.
As the digital era has created an increased need for content production, the implementation of a DAM solution quickly became a necessity to facilitate collaboration and the sharing of content from different campaigns, but also to support the distribution of media throughout the Longchamp ecosystem between PLM, PIM and websites.
Longchamp contacted Activo to help conduct a RFP. The Bynder solution was chosen by the teams for the benefit of the user experience and the connection to the solution's ecosystem.
The key to the project's success was the support provided to the Activo teams, from the initial stages of the project through to its deployment, including the construction of the taxonomy via change management and adoption, which enabled the new tool to be gradually integrated into the new working practices of the various departments:
