With the discontinuation of the Xinet Fullpress solution used by Exacompta Clairefontaine, a replacement became imperative. Priority had to be given to the customer experience and to the simple, efficient distribution of all content for all brands.
After a series of interviews with the group's various brands and discussions with the technical teams, the Bynder solution was chosen, giving priority to the user experience, media distribution and the richness of the ecosystem. In less than 6 months, almost 200,000 media assets were migrated, with all their metadata connected live to the SAP ERP system. The use of the Activo Connect cloud platform made it possible to add the functionalities required by the group's users: search by reference list to create asset collections, for specific dispatches of visuals renamed on the fly according to customer requirements, as well as simplified sharing of urls for a set of article references.Five elements contributed to the success of this change: good support, a good tool corresponding to the group's needs, a technical team integrating the necessary skills, the involvement of the business units and online training in French and English for all users.
